FAQs

Can I connect more than one memory card at the same time?

Yes. The SD and microSD slots work simultaneously, meaning you can offload from two cards at once. This feature is useful when dumping stills and video together without swapping cards. Transfer speeds remain stable as long as the cards support UHS-II.

Will the RODE Hub work with an iPad or phone?

Yes, provided the device supports USB-C data input or OTG. When connected, the hub behaves like it would with a laptop, allowing access to storage, card readers and peripherals. Power delivery depends on the device’s own USB-C limitations.

Does the hub need an external power supply to work?

No. The hub can run from bus power using the supplied USB-C cable. For full charging output to a laptop and connected devices, the included 100W power supply needs to be connected.

Is it compatible with older USB devices?

Yes. All ports support USB 2.0 devices. They will function normally, but at lower data speeds than USB 3.2 equipment.
