This RØDELink Lavalier Microphone features a locking 3.5 mm TRS output that makes it compatible with RØDELink TX-BELT-pack transmitters as well as RØDELink TX-XLR transmitters, and several wireless transmitters from Senal and Sennheiser.

How is the RØDELink Lavalier Microphone different from the one that is included in the RØDELink Filmmaker kit?

The only difference between the lavalier microphone that is supplied in the RØDELink Filmmaker Kit and this separate RØDELink Lavalier Microphone is the locking collar. The RØDELink Lavalier Microphone features a removable locking collar, which allows you to use it with devices that have either a locking or non-locking 3.5 mm audio input. On the other hand, the locking collar on the microphone included in the filmmaker kit is not removable, so you can use it only with devices that use a locking input.
