The Shure VP83F LensHopper Camera-Mount Condenser Microphone is designed to merge the versatile functionality of the VP83 shotgun microphone with a self-contained recorder and a dedicated headphone jack. The rugged metal construction is coupled with an integrated shock mount and comes with an included windscreen, all of which help to reduce interference and unwanted noises during recording. Its integrated WAV audio recorder and separate audio output allow the VP83F to send redundant recordings to a microSDHC card (available separately), whilst allowing your camera to display real-time headphone monitoring. It also features a backlit LCD screen which allows easy access to the mic gain, bass roll-off and metering.
