The Slik Sprint Pro III Tripod is supplied with a carrying case. You don’t have to purchase a separate carrying case for this tripod.

Can you detach the SH-704E 3-way pan head mount? What is the connector bolt size of the plate?

You can detach the SH-704E 3-way pan head with ease. It has a quick-release plate with a 1/4 inch-20 male threaded screw to attach your camera to it.

What is the maximum height of this tripod if the centre column is not extended?

When folded completely with legs and the centre column, the length of this tripod is 47 cm. If you extend the tripod without the centre column, then it should be around 144 cm. With the centre column extended, it can extend even higher depending on your angle.

What is the holding capacity of this tripod?

The Slik Sprint Pro III Tripod can easily hold a heavy DSLR with a wide-angle lens with up to 2 kg of weight.

Can you swap the quick release plate with an Arca-type plate?

Unfortunately, the SH-704E 3-way pan head is not capable of this procedure. Do not try and switch it with an incompatible plate. It will affect your camera panning or may not work properly at all.
