Is the viewfinder adjustable for vision correction?

No. The SmallRig 5387 does not include a diopter. It’s a fixed-focus optical viewfinder designed for general use with standard eyesight or when wearing glasses.

Does it show digital overlays or focus aids?

No. This is a purely optical viewfinder. It does not display exposure data, focus peaking, or overlays. It’s intended to aid manual composition by matching the 28mm frame.

Can the viewfinder be used with zoom lenses?

It’s best suited for prime lenses with a 28mm focal length (or equivalent). Zoom lenses may not align properly with the fixed frame lines.

Is there any electronic connection between the viewfinder and the camera?

No. It’s a mechanical accessory only and does not interface electronically with the camera. All composition is manual via optical alignment.
