Modular cage

The core of this kit is the modular camera cage. This consists of three separate plates: a top plate and two side plates. Designed to protect your Komodo camera, this cage offers numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with anti-twist pins for mounting accessories such as articulating arms and cable clamps. NATO rails on both the top and side plates allow the integration of the included handles. If you remove the top plate, you can also combine this cage with the Outrigger Handle or the DSMC3 RED Touch 7" monitor.

Versatile top handle

The included top handle features a cheeseplate design with multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with anti-twist pin, as well as a built-in Allen wrench to securely attach accessories. On the front of the handle there is a cold shoe mount for mounting an external monitor, which improves visibility when shooting from low angles. This handle attaches to the top plate of the cage via a NATO clamp and can be adjusted back and forth for optimal positioning.

Lens adapter support

The lens mount adapter support attaches beneath the camera's lens mount and provides mounting points for lens mount adapters. This provides stability and protects the lens mount. The adapter works with the Metabones PL to RF T Cine Speed ​​Booster Ultra 0.71x and the Metabones EF to RF T Cine Speed ​​Booster Ultra 0.71x.

Flexible monitor mounting

The monitor bracket attaches to the front of the top handle with a built-in 3/8"-16 ARRI anti-twist pin. This allows you to attach suitable monitors with a 1/4"-20 screw. The holder can tilt up to 180° and rotate 360°, so you can easily adjust your viewing angle.

Secure tripod mounting

The base plate features a Manfrotto 501 plate on one side and an ARRI dovetail plate on the other, making it compatible with various tripod systems. This allows you to securely mount your camera on a tripod for stable shots.
