What does the kit include?

The kit includes a full camera cage, detachable extended baseplate, ARRI-style top handle, HDMI and USB-C cable clamp, two 1/4"-20 screws and an Allen wrench. Everything needed to build a handheld-ready setup is supplied in the box.

Can I still access all camera controls when the cage is fitted?

Yes. The cage closely follows the EOS R5 C’s shape and keeps all top buttons, dials, and ports accessible. The design avoids blocking key controls during handheld operation.

Is the kit compatible with gimbals and stabilisers?

The built-in Arca-Swiss plate allows quick switching between handheld, tripod and compatible stabilisers. The detachable extended baseplate should be removed before mounting on RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3 or RS 3 Pro.

How secure are the HDMI and USB-C cables?

The included cable clamp uses thumb screws to hold both HDMI and USB-C cables firmly in place. This helps prevent accidental disconnection and keeps data transmission stable during recording.

Does the cage prevent twisting on the camera body?

No. The cage uses a triple-lock system with a 1/4"-20 screw, positioning pin and M4 screw. Combined with internal silicone pads, this keeps the camera firmly seated and protected during handheld use.

Is the kit limited to the EOS R5 C only?

The kit is designed specifically around the EOS R5 C body shape, but it is also compatible with the Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6. Some ports, such as the front remote terminal, are not accessible when the cage is installed.
