Can I still access the battery and card slots with the SmallRig Cage 5623 fitted?

Yes. The cage leaves all doors and controls clear, including the battery compartment on the BG-R20 and both card slots. You can change cards or swap batteries without loosening the cage, which helps when working quickly.

Does the cage require any modification to the camera or grip?

No. It mounts using the bottom 1/4”-20 screw and two side M3 screws. These anchor points give the cage its anti-twist stability without altering the camera or grip.

Will the Arca-type base work directly on DJI RS gimbals?

Yes. The built-in Arca-Swiss plate is aligned for DJI RS stabilisers, including the DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, and RS 4 Pro, so you can mount the camera on a gimbal with only very minor balancing tweaks.

What accessories can I mount on the cage?
