FAQs

Does the cage block any controls or ports on the R50 V?

No. The design keeps the camera’s buttons, doors and screen movement clear, so you don’t need to remove the cage during normal shooting or when swapping batteries and cards.

How does the top handle attach?

It mounts via a NATO clamp onto the cage’s rail. Once seated, it slides side to side to help balance the camera, and its ARRI anti-twist fitting keeps monitor mounts and other accessories from rotating loose.

How is the silicone grip better than the bare camera?

It gives a steadier, more comfortable hold, especially if you’re filming for long stretches or running the camera in portrait orientation. The grip covers the existing body shape without adding bulk.

Can I mount more than one accessory on top?
