The cage protects your camera and provides multiple mounting points for accessories without hindering operation. The cage is easy to attach to the action camera. Simply slide the GoPro into the cage and close the lid.

Mounting points for accessories

The top and right sides of the cage are equipped with a cold shoe, on which you attach a microphone or lamp. With the Folding Fingers on the bottom, the SmallRig 3083C Cage can be attached to various GoPro mounts and surfaces with your action cam. The 1/4"-20 thread in the center makes it possible to attach your camera to a tripod.

Quick release side panel

The side panel has a quick release for changing the battery, and you can charge the camera via the USB-C port without opening the panel. The cage is compatible with the Max Lens replacement.

Detachable audio/microphone adapter

This kit includes a detachable audio/microphone adapter that attaches to the bottom with a three-point mount. The Gopro Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter fits in this adapter. Please note: this cage may not be used in seawater due to the risk of corrosion.
