The kit is compatible with Panasonic LUMIX cameras that use DMW-BLK22 batteries, including the GH7, GH6, GH5 II, S9, G9 II, S5 IIX, S5 II and S5. The full decoding chip lets the batteries communicate with compatible cameras, so the camera can show remaining power and also charge with original Panasonic chargers.
How quickly can the charger charge both batteries?
With a suitable 22.5W or higher power adapter, the dual-channel charger can fully charge two batteries in approximately two hours. Both batteries can sit in the charger together, so you do not need to swap one battery in after the first has finished. The included 1m 60W USB-C-to-USB-C cable connects the charger to a compatible power source. The power adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.
What happens if I use a lower-power adapter?
When connected to a 5V/2.4A adapter, the charger operates in slow-charge mode. In that mode, it prioritises Channel 1 first rather than charging both batteries at full speed together. Once the battery in Channel 1 is fully charged, the charger automatically switches to Channel 2. This keeps charging moving, but it takes longer than using a 22.5W or higher adapter.

Each charging channel has five LED indicators that show battery level in 20% increments. This feature offers a quick visual check before packing batteries and can display the battery level even when external power is not connected.
