FAQs:
Does the case block the X-T30’s battery or memory card door?
No. The case is shaped to clear all access points, including the battery compartment, memory card slot, ports and speaker. You can change batteries or cards without removing the case.
Can I mount the camera on a tripod with the case attached?
Yes. The bottom thumbscrew includes a standard 1/4-20 threaded insert. This feature allows direct tripod mounting and keeps the case fixed in position during use.
How protective is the interior lining?
The inside of the case is finished with a soft microfiber suede that wraps closely around the camera body. It prevents abrasion and reduces the chance of fine scratches when the camera is packed in a bag.
Is the grip better than the original on the camera body?
The integrated foam grip adds a bit more purchase for the fingers, which helps when shooting one-handed or working in colder conditions. It feels slightly deeper and softer than the X-T30’s built-in grip.
What comes in the kit besides the half case?
