FAQs

How strong is the magnetic connection?

The magnet locks onto the camera with enough force for everyday action-cam use, and the side positioning clips keep it centred so it doesn’t twist. Once seated, the camera feels stable on most helmet, chest or pole mounts.

Can I use the adapter with older Osmo Action models?

It’s designed specifically for the Osmo Action 3, Action 4, Action 5 Pro and the Osmo 360. Earlier models aren’t supported because the mounting geometry and magnetic interface differ.

Does the adapter fit standard GoPro-style accessories?

Yes. The bottom uses a familiar two-prong mount, so it fits arms, brackets and adhesive bases built for GoPro-type cameras. You can swap between accessories without changing the adapter.

Is it too bulky to keep on the camera?

No. At just 13.5 g, it adds very little weight. Most users keep it attached so they can drop the camera straight onto a mount without fiddling with extra hardware.
