Equipped with two aspherical and two Super-Low Dispersion glass elements, the lens is capable of expert distortion reduction along with spherical aberration and astigmatism management. Light fall-off at all focal lengths is also controlled for. To finish things off, the anti-reflective multi-layer coating has been applied to the lens. It improves light transmission and reduces reflections. The water-repellent coating, on the other hand, allows for easy cleaning of the front glass element's surface.
