The TTArtisan AF 35mm f1.8 II is lighter than the original, dropping from 199g to 176g for better balance on compact APS-C cameras. Its updated optical design uses 10 elements in 7 groups, including high-refractive and ED elements for sustained sharpness and controlled colour fringing. The lens’s minimum focusing distance is now 0.4m, down from 0.6m, allowing tighter compositions. Firmware updates are performed via a USB-C port on the rear lens cap, allowing upgrades without external ports.
