The Zoom U-44 comes with 2 low-noise mic preamps with phantom power on TRS/XLR combo jacks, and you can even plug in your guitar and record directly. Moreover, this unit can run for up to four hours on just two AA batteries, making it perfect for recording in the most remote locations where USB bus power is not available.

Record with instruments, mics, and more while travelling or at home — the Zoom U-44 is iPad/iPhone compatible and showcases a compact design, so you can take it with you anywhere you go. The Zoom U-44 can run on only two AA batteries, so you can record even in remote locations. Proper connectivity and operation with an iPad or iPhone require two AA batteries or the optional AC adapter for power, plus a Lightning-to-USB Camera Adapter or an Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit. A USB cable is also supplied, so you can connect it to your Mac/Windows computer.

Two TRS/ XLR combo inputs with multicolour level indicators and independent gain knobs enable you to connect mixers, keyboards, mics, and more. Additionally, Separate RCA and TRS output jacks offer several options for connecting monitors, DJ mixers, and other gear.
