Available in either 500GB or 1TB, the Atomos Nextorage AtomX SSDmini is an impressively compact SSD that’s specifically designed for the latest generation of Atomos recorders. 20% smaller than standard 2.5” SSDs, it fits into the media slot of the Ninja V, Ninja V+, Shogun 7 and Neon devices. It is super-durable and has been rigorously tested and offers shock resistance of up to 1500G / 0.5ms.

How fast is the SSD?
Both the 500GB and 1TB versions offer fast performance at 550MB/s read- and 500MB/s write speed. Both can record any codec supported on Atomos recorders, allowing you to shoot in professional Video and RAW formats without dropping a frame.
What formats does it allow?
The has been designed for use with ProRes RAW HQ up to 8Kp30, 5Kp60, and 4Kp120 on Ninja V+ and ProRes RAW HQ 6K up to 30p, as well as 4Kp60 and 2Kp240 on Ninja V.
Is there any manufacture warranty?
Nextorage provides a 3-year warranty that includes data recovery for their SSDmini drives, should anything go wrong during your shoot. Furthermore, this requires no registration either!

The balance of the finance agreement is payable directly to Novuna Consumer Finance in equal monthly instalments by monthly direct debit. The direct debit payments will commence at the end of the first month following receipt of your goods. The interest rate charged is 13.9% APR. Late payment and early repayment penalties apply; full details of these will be provided in the loan agreement pack.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
