How far can the Atomos TX-RX system transmit video?
The system supports up to 300m (985ft) line-of-sight transmission using the 5GHz frequency band. It is designed to maintain stable, interference-resistant connectivity even in demanding production environments.
What resolutions and formats are supported with the Atomos TX-RX Wireless Set?
Via HDMI, the system supports up to UHD 4K30, including 1080p and 720p options. The SDI ports handle formats up to 1080p60. Dual-channel PCM audio is also supported for embedded sound monitoring.
How are the transmitter and receiver powered?
Both the transmitter and receiver feature integrated L-series battery plates and also accept USB-C or DC power (9–16V). This makes them adaptable to both on-location and studio power setups.
Is the TX-RX system mobile compatible?
Yes. In addition to dedicated Atomos receivers, the TX unit can wirelessly transmit video directly to Android and iOS devices. This adds a fast and flexible mobile monitoring option for solo operators.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
