Hardware and Software
A key feature of this BirdDog 4K HDMI Encoder/Decoder is the intuitive SFP+ expansion slot that is capable of supporting SFP+ modules for fiber connectivity and Ethernet protocols from 1-10GbE. This is paired with a sizable bicolour tally light and expansive tally system, which displays to on-air talent the camera that is currently live. It also affords user-selectable tally borders on loop out.
The BirdDog 4K HDMI - HDMI2.0, 4Kp60 NDI Encoder/Decoder also consists of a 3.5mm audio input/output, 4-line OLED display, and a USB 3.0 interface. To power this device, you are given two available options. The first is via a standard power supply, and the second is over PoE+ (Power over Ethernet). You can even power other PTZ camera that support NDI, NDI|HX, or Visca over IP when utilising an additional USB-to-Ethernet adapter (sold separately).
BirdDog Comms Lite Audio Intercom Software
The BirdDog Comms Lite Audio Intercom software is a multi-functional platform that supports up to four BirdDog devices. It is fully Windows compatible (Windows 10 and above), and offers pro-level features to include director push to talk, mute camera operator, auto-detect NDI sources, monitor camera audio, and shortcut to web console. If you require a more complete version of the application, you can easily upgrade to Comms Pro. This BirdDog 4K HDMI - HDMI2.0, 4Kp60 NDI Encoder/Decoder is also compatible with the additional BirdDog Central software for decoding NDI back to HDMI or SDI.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
