It has the capacity to connect to an onboard monitor, camera, or other video source, rendering it instantly available on your expanded NDI-enabled network. This device can support UHD 4k30 and 1080p60 resolution video, PoE or 12V power hookup, and further utilises a 15W DC output for powering select monitors and cameras directly from your BirdDog Flex 4k In power source. As with all advanced encoder systems from BirdDog, tally information is displayed clearly for both talent and the operator. You also have the ability to attach a cable (sold separately) to the 2.5mm RS232 port for enhanced pass-through control of non-PTZ camera systems. To guarantee an efficient, smooth, and professional workflow, this encoder has an unrivalled thermal design with a near-silent fan system.
