The BirdDog Mini is essentially an ultra-compact NDI interface for HDMI video sources. To do so, connect your camera system or other relevant video source, and then have it be instantly available on your NDI-enabled network. Even though the BirdDog Mini is a seriously small piece of kit, it is still capable of supporting 1080p resolutions at up to 59.94fps. PoE (Power over Ethernet) is also accepted, which means that the Mini can be powered directly via network connection - no power supply required. Tally information is clearly displayed via the in-built bi-colour display, as well as being present on all connected compatible devices. Due to its ridiculously small size, the BirdDog Mini is a great addition to a home-studio or video production facility setup that utilises NDI technology.
