Stunning Video Quality
The Blackmagic Web Presenter is equipped with a 12G‑SDI input that supports all HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60, and Teranex conversion technology on the SDI input makes for even cleaning video. There’s also a 12G‑SDI loop output which will allow you to loop video through more than one web presenter, enabling you to stream to multiple services. What’s more, the unit can receive an incoming HD/Ultra HD input signal and automatically convert and upscale to 4K video. This is then sent to the H.264 encoder for streaming, and then on to your computer for USB webcam outputs.
Built-in Technical Monitoring
Just as you’d expect with professional broadcast transmitters used in a television studio, the Blackmagic Web Presenter offers the very same and vitally critical technical monitoring statistics to help present the best possible stream. This monitoring output will present a live video view, audio meters with accurate ballistics, trend graphs for codec data rates and cache fill. You’ll also see a summary of the streaming settings and detailed SDI technical information in real time. In addition, the technical monitoring outputs to both SDI and HDMI in full 4K. The result of this is that you can use an SDI router to monitor multiple units and even connect TV via HDMI.
Mobile Streaming
The unit is built with an ethernet connection for more permanent connectivity options, but when streaming from remote locations, or simply if you need a backup to your main connection, the Web Presenter 4K allows you to plug in your Smartphone to connect via Mobile Data. For this, there are USB ports on the front and rear of the device which are dedicated to tethering either 4G or the latest super-fast 5G mobile data connection. The unit will auto-detect when a phone is connected and will automatically switch to mobile data. However, this is customisable, allowing you to Ethernet or Mobile Data priority.
Built-In Redundancies
Blackmagic has equipped this unit with redundancy features that help keep you online. We’ve mentioned how you can use your phone’s mobile data alongside an ethernet connection, and this is where dual internet connections are truly utilised; automatically shifting from one connection to the other if a connection is lost. Additionally, the unit features both AC and DC inputs which give you the option to use a broadcast battery pack for redundant power. Control-wise, there are intuitive controls and menus on the front panel, as well as the option to use the Web Presenter Ultilty Software to control your stream.
Quality Video Calling
In addition to the wealth of features in this unit, the Web Presenter features two USB ports that can be operated as a simple webcam source. What does this mean for me? This means that the unit can be plugged into any computer and will work with any video software you have. Video software such as Zoom, Skype or Microsoft Teams will see the Web Presenter as a standard webcam but what you’ll be getting is a broadcast quality SDI video source, resulting in full resolution 4K quality for video calls.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
