Robust Design for Varied Applications
The aluminium and plastic construction of the microscope ensures sturdy and durable handling. Its robust metal body, weighing only 3.8kg, is ideal for school use and carrying it from one place to another. This advanced research microscope can be used by professionals and advanced amateurs in numerous fields like biology, botany, and education.
Variety of Magnification Possibilities
The objective turret of the microscope is fitted with 4 DIN objectives: 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x (oil immersion). These objective turrets combined with the two WF 10x eyepieces offer a range of magnification possibilities. The eyepiece is inserted into the head from above and the magnification can be calculated by combining the eyepiece magnification with the objective magnification. For example, if the 10x eyepiece is used with the 100x lens, then the total magnification obtained would be 10*100, i.e. 1000x magnification.
Dimmable Illumination
The Bresser Bino Researcher Microscope has a built-in electric illuminator, which works by plugging the connection cable into the microscope and the power supply. The dimmable LED light offers transmitted light whose intensity can be adjusted using the dimmer knob. The illuminator and the double-lens condenser with iris diaphragm provide ideal illumination to observe samples.

FAQs:
How can the microscope table be used?
The included microscope table ensures precise placement of samples that are to be observed. Place the object in between the clamps on the microscope table and move the object with the help of axis adjustments directly under the objective. You can now specifically set and shift the object with the built-in vernier at both axes. This enables you to precisely position the object to the exact millimetre.
What is the oil immersion used for?
The 4 DIN objectives are used for varied magnification possibilities, but the 100x objective should only be used with oil immersion. Simply put a drop of it on the upper lens of the condenser and raise it using the height adjustment, until the oil touches the slide from below. Centre your object under illumination and screw in the 100x objective. Place a drop of the immersion oil on the preparation and move the objective till it touches the immersion oil. Using the fine adjustment, the sample can be now viewed under 1000x magnification.
How can the microscope be cleaned?
To clean the non-optical parts, simply use a soft brush and a lint-free cloth after disconnecting the microscope from the power supply. For cleaning the optical parts, do not wipe as it may damage the lens coating. Simply blow loose dust away and use a lens tissue or a soft fabric moistened with pure alcohol to wipe the surface with less pressure.
How can the microscope be powered?
The Bresser Researcher Bino 40-1000x Microscope can be powered by a power supply of 220/240V.
Can it be used while wearing glasses?
The 23.2mm eyepiece is equipped with adjustable eye relief which makes it comfortable to use with glasses.
