How does this differ from the Essentials Kit for PYXIS?
The Advanced Cine Kit adds a full 15mm LWS baseplate, front rod console and 30.4cm support rods. This allows proper integration of the lens motor, matte box, and lens support rather than remaining a top-side mounting solution. It is designed for more complete cinema builds rather than lightweight handheld setups.
Can I switch easily between the tripod and the DJI RS 4 gimbal?
Yes. The Universal Dovetail supports both Manfrotto-style and DJI RS 4 configurations. The sliding 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws let you fine-tune the balance without removing the plate, and the etched markings help you return to a known position after reconfiguration.
Is the rod system strong enough for heavier lenses?
The Create 15mm LWS Baseplate provides front and rear rod mounts, and the included 30.4cm Drumstix threaded rods offer proper support length for longer lenses. What does the 15mm Front Rod Console add on top?

Does the kit remain compact enough for handheld work?

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
