Triple-camera imaging system for capturing every angle

The DJI Mavic 4 Pro’s triple-camera imaging system lets you capture a range of perspectives, from wide-angle to telephoto. The primary camera is a new 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad camera featuring a 100MP sensor that supports Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) for impressive colour fidelity. With an f2.0 to f11 aperture and 28mm focal length, it excels at low-light shooting and 10-ray starburst effects alike. The 40MP 1/13-inch sensor, 70mm f2.8 medium telephoto lens ensures advanced image quality, creating a compressed look that highlights subjects for flattering portraits or dynamic car footage. The final telephoto camera has a 50MP 1/1.5-inch sensor and 168mm f2.8 lens, along with an optimised gimbal algorithm for capturing stabilised long-range photography.

All cameras feature Dual Native ISO fusion, which blends high and low ISO settings for photos and videos, delivering sharp detail in any condition. Built-in Subject Focusing enhances each camera’s ability to capture subjects in sharp focus. For capturing expansive skylines or cityscapes in your chosen perspective, all three cameras support Free Panoramas.

6K/60fps HDR videos with 10-bit D-Log colour

The DJI Mavic 4 Pro is designed for professional-quality content, with all three cameras supporting 4K/60fps HDR video recording. The Hasselblad primary camera takes this further with 6K/60fps HDR video, offering a dynamic range of up to 16 stops for next-level colour detail. The medium telephoto and telephoto camera offer 14 stops and 13 stops of dynamic range, respectively. The Hasselblad camera and medium telephoto camera enable 4K/120fps slow-motion video recording, while the telephoto camera supports 4K/100fps, allowing you to create footage with gripping tension or heightened drama regardless of which camera you use.

To support the editing process, all three cameras feature 10-bit 4:2:2 D-Log, D-Log M, and HLG colour profiles, ensuring consistent colour reproduction and richer colour details across footage.

Infinity Gimbal for smooth, creative shooting

Improving upon the DJI Mavic 3 Pro, the DJI Mavic 4 Pro’s new Infinity Gimbal lets you access more creative angles with sharp results supported by next-generation subject tracking. The structure enables 360-degree rotation and 70-degree upward shots for capturing new and exciting angles. The more powerful ActiveTrack 360° enables stable recording with reliable subject tracking even in low-light conditions. Even if a subject is partially obscured, the Mavic 4 Pro will keep them in focus. ActiveTrack 360° is also improved for vehicle tracking, making it an ideal choice for high-quality automotive cinematography. ActiveTrack 360° and the Infinity Gimbal pair to create sharp, dramatic footage for creative storytelling.

Obstacle sensing and reliable transmission for safe flights

Building on its predecessor, the DJI Mavic 4 Pro also features enhanced obstacle sensing and improved video transmission for incredible performance. With six high-performance, low-light fisheye sensors that have a sensitivity of 0.1 lux and dual processors, the Mavic 4 Pro boasts impressive environmental awareness, even in low-light conditions. Omnidirectional obstacle avoidance functions at speeds of up to 18 m/s in low-light conditions, utilising streetlights for safe navigation. In near-pitch-black environments with a brightness of less than 0.1 lux, it utilises forward-facing Lidar to detect obstacles and apply the brakes, for safer Nighttime RTH. The Mavic 4 Pro also uses real-time vision positioning and map construction technology to memorise flight paths for Non-GPS RTH.

With a satellite signal, you can communicate worry-free with the Mavic 4 Pro over large distances. Its DJI O4+ transmission system supports 10-bit HDR video transmission up to 30km, with a reduced possibility of disconnection, even in areas with high interference, allowing you to fly reliably in urban environments.

Whether you're buying your first drone or a professional pilot, it is important to stay up to date with the latest UK regulations. Drone laws are based on the risk of your flight, including where you fly, how close you are to people, and the size and weight of your drone.

If your drone has a camera, you’ll need an Operator ID – regardless of how light it is. For drones weighing 250g or more, you’ll also need a Flyer ID. And if you're planning to fly commercially, you’ll need additional qualifications, such as the CAA’s Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) exam.
