Expanded DJI Mini 2 SE Key Features:
Small but Powerful
This lightweight, portable, and regulation-friendly drone weighs in at a mere 249g. Although small in size, the Mini 2 SE is still packed with powerful features. With the same intelligent flight battery as the Mini 2, this standard edition boats the same 31-minute maximum flight time - giving users plenty of time to compose their shots and achieve more dramatic effects. And, with improved flight time comes greater coverage. The Mini 2 SE supports up to 10 km of HD video transmission and has excellent anti-interference capabilities, giving you the ability to fly farther and see clearer.
Following in the footsteps of the DJI Mini 2, the Mini 2 SE benefits from a similar level of professional optics. This standard edition drone is fitted with the same 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor and 12MP camera for true-to-life colours and impressive amounts of detail. Combined with the ability to shoot up to 2.7k at 30fps and support for up to 4x digital zoom, the Mini 2 SE offers endless possibilities for composition and creative flair.
Maximum Impact, Minimum Effort
From the second you’re ready to fly, the DJI Mini 2 SE is designed to simplify your aerial experience. Using the Auto Takeoff function, you’ll be able to get advanced shots in no time. Quickshot features like Dronie, Helix, Rocket and Boomerang can also be captured with just a tap on your DJI Fly App. And, Panorama mode supports 180°, Wide Angle, and Spherical photos, packing an incredible amount of content into every frame. These intelligent modes make the DJI Mini 2 SE an incredibly user-friendly option.
Windy coastlines and mountain valleys needn’t be a problem with the DJI Mini 2 SE. This drone maintains smooth and steady flight in winds up to 10.7 m/s (38kph Level 5 Wind Resistance). And, thanks to The Return to Home (RTH) function, the aircraft will automatically return to its starting point whenever the signal drops or the battery is running low. Combined with GNSS and both the downward vision and the infrared sensing systems, this Mini 2 SE ensures a stable and accurate flight that allows users to fly with confidence.
Know the rules!
The UK’s drone rules are based on the risk of the flight – where you fly, the proximity to other people, and the size and weight of your drone. Any drone with a camera will require an Operator ID, regardless of weight. However, an additional Flyer ID is required for drones of 250g and over.
Other qualifications are still needed for commercial drone use, and even then, this doesn't mean you can fly your drone anywhere. Ensure you know the rules and consult the Drone Code before you fly; if you want to fly commercially, you must take the PfCO CAA exam (Permission for Commercial Operations).
