Expanded DJI Mini 3 (Drone Only) Key Features:
Perfect for Content Creators
As a compact and ultra-lightweight camera drone, the DJI Mini 3 is the perfect option for content creators and casual aerial photographers. The simple foldable design weighs less than 249g and can be easily packed in your bag or pocket ready for your next adventure. The Mini 3 also features an extended battery life with 38 minutes of flight time, stunning 4K HDR video, and practical functions like True Vertical Shooting. Thanks to an innovative gimbal design, True Vertical Shooting physically tilts the camera to turn a casual shot into a striking work of art ready for sharing on social media.
Following in the footsteps of the Pro edition, the Mini 3 benefits from a similar level of professional optics. With its 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor that features dual native ISO and chip-level HDR technology, you’ll be able to capture incredible levels of detail for more nuanced visual results with greater depth. Its bigger 2.4μm 4-in-1 pixels combined with a wide f1.7 aperture offers exceptional image quality producing more true-to-life images, even in low-light conditions.
Maximum Impact, Minimum Effort
From the second you’re ready to fly, the DJI Mini 3 is designed to simplify your aerial experience. Using the Auto Takeoff function, you’ll be able to get advanced shots in no time. Quickshot features like Dronie, Helix, Rocket and Boomerang can be captured with just a tap on your DJI Fly App. And, Panorama mode supports 180°, Wide Angle, and Sphere photos, packing a mind-boggling amount of content into every frame. You can even send the results straight to your mobile device for storage or share them just as quickly with QuickTransfer.
Windy coastlines and mountain valleys needn’t be a problem with the DJI Mini 3. This drone maintains smooth and steady flight in winds up to 10.7 m/s (38kph Level 5 Wind Resistance). And, thanks to The Return to Home (RTH) function, the aircraft will automatically return to its starting point whenever the signal drops or the battery is running low. Combined with GNSS and both the downward vision and the infrared sensing systems, this Mini 3 ensures a stable and accurate flight that allows users to fly with confidence.
Know the rules!
The UK’s drone rules are based on the risk of the flight – where you fly, the proximity to other people, and the size and weight of your drone. Any drone with a camera will require an Operator ID, regardless of weight. However, an additional Flyer ID is required for drones of 250g and over.
Other qualifications are still needed for commercial drone use, and even then, this doesn't mean you can fly your drone anywhere. Ensure you know the rules and consult the Drone Code before you fly; if you want to fly commercially, you must take the PfCO CAA exam (Permission for Commercial Operations).
