Weighing just 135g, the DJI Neo is DJI’s lightest and most compact drone to date, with a portable palm-sized design that lends itself to shooting anywhere. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor shooting, offering a unique perspective for action and simple group shots. Thanks to its convenient size, the Neo can take off from and land on your palm and capture impressive footage without needing a remote controller, reducing the amount of kit necessary for shooting.

Alongside easy flight operation, shooting with the DJI Neo’s camera offers convenient features for achieving stunning results. Reliable AI subject tracking gives you peace of mind that you’ll remain in the frame in sharp focus, whether cycling, hiking, or skateboarding, for dynamic follow shots with little input from you. With QuickShots on DJI Neo, you can select one of six intelligent shooting modes to create compelling footage with little effort, which is ideal for beginners who require assistance.

Versatile Control Options

The DJI Neo offers multiple control methods to suit your needs, including controller-free palm take-offs and landings. Another control method is Voice control with the DJI App, which you can enable with the words “Hey Fly” for hands-free operation. The DJI Neo supports Wi-Fi connection to smartphones, which allows your phone to act as a remote controller. The DJI App provides access to virtual joysticks and has a control range of up to 50 metres. You can also set the tracking angle and distance to get your desired shot, whether far away or close up, allowing you to fly with minimal equipment.

For more precise control, the DJI Neo is also compatible with the included DJI RC-N3, which reaches a further maximum video transmission distance of 10 kilometres for more professional-level control. Also available separately are the DJI Goggles 3, RC Motion 3, or FPV Remote Controller for more immersive motion control.

Unmatched Image Quality

Despite its compact size, the DJI Neo delivers impressive image quality to capture unmissable moments in sharp clarity. A ½-inch image sensor captures 12MP stills and shoots up to 4K/30fps video, impressively stabilised by RockSteady/HorizonBlanacing algorithms for sharp colours in highlight and shadow areas, retaining impressive detail.

The DJI Neo is designed for tough conditions thanks to combining a single-axis mechanical gimbal with RockSteady and Horizon Balancing stabilisation. The stabilisation algorithms significantly reduce overall image shakes and correct horizon tilt within ±45°, for smooth and stable footage no matter how rocky the shooting scenario. It can handle high-speed or large-amplitude flight and level-4 wind conditions, perfect for action and outdoor shooting.

Designed for Content Creation

The DJI Neo is an excellent choice for content creators, with valuable features for optimal productivity while filming vlogs or taking photos. The DJI Neo comes with an intelligent flight battery, propeller guards, and more, allowing you to get right into shooting. With 18 minutes of flight time, you can complete approximately 20 excursions to and from your palm for an extended filming session. It uses an infrared and monocular vision positioning system to hover steadily in the air while shooting. It supports automatic Return to Home to fly back to its takeoff point without direction when you’re done filming.

With 22GB of internal storage, it can store up to 40 minutes of 4K/30fps video or 55 minutes of 1080p/60fps video. A rapid QuickTransfer feature lets you transfer your creations without a cable. Using Wi-Fi to connect to your smartphone, you can send the footage to the DJI Fly App. You can also record audio with your phone when connected to the App. The app removes propeller noise and merges the audio track with the footage for clear sound, making for a seamless and intuitive post-production process.

The DJI Fly app enables you to achieve quick and easy edits with a large selection of templates or add glamour effects to your footage with one tap. You can also create and share videos efficiently without downloading the photos to your phone to edit them, saving storage space.

Know the rules!

The UK’s drone rules are based on the risk of the flight—where you fly, the proximity to other people, and the size and weight of your drone. Any drone with a camera, regardless of weight, will require an Operator ID. However, an additional Flyer ID is required for drones weighing 250g and over. Other qualifications are still needed for commercial drone use, and even then, this doesn't mean you can fly your drone anywhere. Ensure you know the rules and consult the Drone Code before you fly; if you want to fly commercially, you must take the PfCO CAA exam (Permission for Commercial Operations).
