What is RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonSteady?
The Osmo Action 5 Pro uses RockSteady 3.0 technology to stabilise footage. This Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) technology is realised by increasing the shutter speed, analysing the images captured by the CMOS sensor, and compensating by cutting off the edges of these images. In this way, multiple frames are overlaid and finally combined into a single frame that is sharp, clear, and accurately exposed.
HorizonSteady uses DJI's latest stabilisation algorithm to correct shakes for any horizontal rotation (360°) and lock onto a leveled horizon in every frame, regardless of how the camera is mounted or worn. It allows you to capture smooth and stable footage whether you are cycling on bumpy roads or go-karting around a track.
Does the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro feature internal storage?
Yes, the camera has 47GB of built-in storage. For additional memory, the Action 5 Pro accepts microSD cards (up to 1 TB).
What’s new about the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro’s touchscreen displays?
Capture action clearly with the rear OLED screen's peak brightness of 1000 nits, and enjoy rich colours and high contrast on both front and rear OLED touchscreens. The screens are 16% larger than on the DJI Osmo Action 4, with narrower bezels. They feature tempered glass for durability and an AF coating that keeps touch controls responsive, even when wet. Additionally, Always On Display provides critical information without draining power.
Can Osmo Action 5 Pro be used while charging?
Yes. However, Subject Tracking mode and SuperNight mode are only functional when the camera has a battery installed. Other modes can be used without a battery as long as the camera is connected to a power source via a Type-C cable.
How do I use the DJI Mimo app?
Once wirelessly connected to Action 5 Pro, the Mimo app allows you to preview the camera view and adjust the settings. It comes with a variety of editing templates and a One-Tap Edit feature, all without needing to download the footage during editing, thus saving your phone's storage space. The Mimo app also includes diverse editing features for action cameras, such as Sports Dashboard, Vivid Underwater, and InvisiStick.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
