The Instax Mini 13 builds on the popular Instax Mini 12 with a refreshed design, a metallic silver logo and a new built-in self-timer. With 2-second and 10-second timer options, it's easier to capture selfies, group photos and moments that include you. Close-up mode also gains parallax correction, helping keep nearby subjects centred in the frame for more accurate composition.

The Mini 13 features the same straightforward and intuitive user experience that made its predecessor so popular. Twist the lens to power up, switch to Close-up mode when shooting nearby subjects, and let automatic exposure and flash control handle the lighting. The included camera-angle adjustment accessory works with the new self-timer to make selfies and group photos easier to capture, helping you spend less time setting up and more time enjoying the moment.

Improve your group shots

The most significant addition to the Instax Mini 13 is its built-in electronic self-timer. Choose between a 2-second countdown for handheld selfies or a 10-second timer when you want to jump into the frame yourself. Whether you're capturing a quick selfie or gathering everyone together for a group photo, the self-timer gives you more freedom to be part of the picture. Working alongside the self-timer is the included camera angle adjustment accessory. Designed as part of the wrist strap, it gently tilts the camera upwards when placed on a flat surface, helping you find a more flattering angle before stepping into the frame. Together, these features make it easier to capture photos that include everyone.

Close-up mode and selfie shooting

The Instax Mini 13 makes close-up photography simple. Twist the lens once to switch the camera on, then twist again to enter Close-up mode when photographing subjects between 30cm and 50cm away. When Close-up mode is active, parallax correction helps keep nearby subjects centred in the frame, so your finished print more closely matches what you see through the viewfinder. Whether you're taking selfies, photographing friends or capturing small details, it helps make composition feel more natural and predictable. A built-in selfie mirror also makes it easy to check your framing before pressing the shutter, helping you capture self-portraits with greater confidence.

Automatic exposure and flash control

The Instax Mini 13 features automatic exposure control across a brightness range of Lv 5.0 to 14.5 (ISO 800), helping it adapt to a variety of lighting conditions. Whether you're taking photos indoors with friends, outside on a bright day or during an evening gathering, the camera automatically adjusts brightness to suit the scene. Automatic flash control works alongside the exposure system, providing additional light when needed. These features help you spend less time thinking about settings and more time focusing on framing the shot and capturing the occasion.

Instax UP! smartphone app

The free Instax UP! smartphone app helps you keep enjoying your Instax photos long after they've developed. Simply scan your prints to create a digital collection that can be viewed, organised and shared from your smartphone. Updated AI-powered scanning technology helps capture cleaner digital versions of your photos, making it easier to build albums, revisit favourite memories and share images with friends and family. You can even add your scanned photos to the Instax Days calendar feature, creating a digital archive alongside your printed keepsakes.
