The Mountaineer Series are ultra-stiff tripods aimed at professional and advanced amateur photographers who own cameras with high resolution full-sized sensors and/or lenses with long focal lengths. Quick release plate
The Gitzo 3 Way Fluid Head features a quick release holder with which the plate (7cm rubberized Arca-Swiss compatible plate included) can be easily released. The width of the quick release holder can be adjusted using the side screw to make it compatible with other plates. To fix-in a plate (and camera) just a single firm pressing down is needed against the quick release holder.
90 degree rotateable plate holder
The new 90° rotatable plate holder allows greater working versatility and framing. Not only does it helps switch from portrait to landscape, it also makes it very easy to shoot overhead and below. This rotation prevents collision with tripods like the Systematic, which have a larger spider.
Smart spirit level rotation
The rotating sprit level supports accurate framing on all axes. The spirit level can easily be repositioned to suit the camera's position.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
