Gitzo Magic
Well established as a premium tripod manufacturer, Gitzo has upheld this quality with the Gitzo GT5543LS Systematic Series 5 tripod. This carbon fibre tripod is impressively lightweight 2.7kg but offers unrivalled durability and stability with a maximum payload of 40kg and a maximum height of 155cm. The 4 section legs are made with Gitzo's Carbon eXact tubes and complemented by the G-Lock Ultra Twist locks which not only make it quick and easy to deploy the legs but they also prevent joint damage by blocking out dirt, dust, and moisture. The tripod also comes with three Gitzo "Big-Foot" All Terrain Shoes that will further increase the appeal of this tripod to travel and wildlife photographers who need their tripods to perform while out on location.
The Tripod Head
This tripod head offers an incredible weight to payload ratio, weighing in at just 1kg yet holding up to 30kg of gear. Premium materials, including high-tolerance steel and aluminium components and the large super-smooth coated hollow-sphere ball contribute to the maximum payload and stability of heavier lenses when attached, even in extreme temperatures from -30° to 70°C. There's also a fluid drag system that features an independent 360° panning lock for super-smooth fluid movement, improved panning for tracking your subjects. A short-rotation fast lock is used for getting that perfect shot when it counts. Additionally, there's a friction control for more precise, subtle adjustments and a bubble level to ensure a true horizon.

FAQs:
Can I replace the rubber feet with spiked feet?
The GT5543LS does allow you to change out different feet. Each leg has a 3/8-16 thread that is suitable for a wide range of tripod feet.
Does this tripod have a centre column?
This tripod does not come with a centre column. This was a conscious design decision that results in this being the perfect tripod for travel.
Can I use other Arca-Swiss Style quick release plates on the head?
The GH4383LR will accept other Arcas-Swiss style QR plates from other brands.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
