The Godox UL150 Silent Video Light features a unique heat dissipation system for fanless cooling. It makes your post-production process very easy with contamination-free results. The inaudible operation also enables you to free your mind from the worries of light placement. It can be positioned as near as possible to the subject and still give you a noise-free environment to shoot in.

Flexible placement of Light

The video light is compatible with Bowens mount accessories and can be attached to most light stands. The separate controller reduces the weight and size of the light for easy mounting. The controlling box can be used from a distance so the light can be placed anywhere for particular scenes. An additional feature of a rotating yoke enables a lower positioning of the light as well. The light is DC powered, but also can be powered by a V-mount battery.

The light offers a colour temperature of 5600 K with a variance of 200 K, rendering high-quality light. It is a daylight-balanced light that can be used for both indoor and outdoor shoots. What is the controller box for?

The controller box makes the light weigh less by moving the V-mount battery plate and light controls out of the light body. By reducing the bulk weight of large V-mount cells, the light can be placed anywhere and on any light stand. It features an antenna for the separately purchased wireless remote control to work with it, and a Bluetooth antenna to work with the Godox app.

Which mounts are supported on the light?

The video light has a built-in umbrella mount and a Bowens mount, making it compatible with a variety of accessories and modifiers.

How much does it weigh?

The video light weighs only 3.09 kg and the controller weighs 0.86 kg.

Can it run on both AC and DC power supply?

The light has a dual-power solution and can be used with the AC adapter for in-studio use or the DC V-mount battery for on-location shooting where there are no power outlets available. It supports an AC input power of 100 to 240 V and 16.8 V of DC input power.

Can the controller box auto-save the last light settings?

Even when turned off, the light maintains the previous light settings. It uses the power button or the wireless GodoxPhoto (for iOS and Android) app to turn the power back on. The auto-saved settings would be restored.
