Stunning Time-lapses and Speed Control

TimeWarp 2.0 automatically adjusts speed based on motion, scene detection, and lighting for awesome time-lapses. Users can slow down the effect in real-time, and then simply tap to speed the footage back up. Additionally, the camera recognises when a subject is facing it, smiling, blinking etc. This information is used by the GoPro App to pick the best shot and generate stunning videos.

Photography Modes

There are plenty of photographic options to capture the perfect moment. LiveBurst records 1.5 seconds before and after the shot allowing users to pick the ideal single frame for the perfect photo. SuperPhoto + HD capture 12-megapixel photographs with elevated HDR whether it is moving or stationary, with minimal blur and crisp details even in low lighting. RAW mode is available in all photo modes including time-lapse and burst photos, offering greater flexibility. High Quality Video

Incorporated into the camera are a plethora of video recommended presents for Standard, Activity, Cinematic, and Slow-Mo capture. The user can generate their custom presents for much more comfortable access to their preferred settings. For social media sharing, users can shoot 15 or 30 second clips. Furthermore, studio-quality video capture with bit rates options of up to 100Mbps is also possible. Another fantastic video feature is the High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) option thanks to which SD card space can be salvaged. It reduces file size without the loss of image quality.
