In Broadcast Mode, it enables one transmitter to connect to up to four receivers, maintaining smooth, real-time video transmission, with intelligent camera views switching and frequency hopping. Suitable for multi-camera setups, Broadcast Mode provides a 200m line-of-sight or 100m back-to-back transmission range. When Broadcast Mode is off, connecting to up to four receivers is still possible, offering an extended range up to 400m line-of-sight and 150m back-to-back.

Using dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz technology, the Pyro 5 also features automatic frequency selection and real-time auto-hopping to minimise interference and enhance reliability. When switched on, the transceiver automatically scans and locks onto the optimal frequency channel thanks to Smart Channel Selection.

Hollyland’s Pyro 5 is more than just a monitor, supporting a range of functions for smooth video production on set. It supports proxy recording, allowing you to record proxy files to an SD card or USB drive while monitoring. The proxy files include timecode for accurate editing in post production.
