Straightforward wide-angle shooting

The 25mm glass lens gives the Snapic A1 a naturally broad view that suits daily scenes, group shots and travel moments. With a fixed f9.5 aperture and a single 1/100 shutter speed, exposure stays consistent and predictable. You are not adjusting settings shot to shot, which keeps the camera responsive and encourages a relaxed shooting style.

Two-zone manual focus

Focus is handled by a simple two-position switch rather than an autofocus system. One setting covers close subjects from around half a metre to 1.5 metres, while the other handles everything from that point out to infinity. It is quick to check by feel and works well when you want to shoot without waiting for the camera to make a decision.

Built-in flash and OLED display

The built-in flash has a guide number of 8 at ISO 100 and is there when the light drops indoors or at night. An OLED screen on the rear displays useful shooting information, such as the current frame, flash readiness, and battery status. It removes the guesswork that often comes with simple film cameras.

In-camera double exposure mode

A dedicated switch allows you to expose the same frame of film twice. This is handled entirely in-camera, without rewinding or special techniques. It is an easy way to experiment with layered images while keeping the process tactile and deliberate.

Motorised film handling

Film loading, advance and rewind are fully motorised. Once the film is inserted, the camera handles transport, reducing the risk of misloads or half-advanced frames. Power comes from two AAA batteries, which deliver enough charge for roughly ten rolls of 24-exposure film.
