The new generation 35mm f1.4 Summilux-M Asph Lens from Leica has been re-engineered to take an already high-performing option and give it even more versatility. The most notable upgrade is the improved 0.4m minimum focusing distance made possible by the patent-pending double cam unit. This newly developed feature means the rotation angle of the focus ring could be almost doubled to 176° in comparison to the previous model. And, with the improved 11-blade aperture diaphragm, bokeh is also naturally spherical, providing some really beautiful results.
