If you are searching for a stills-only, straightforward and stylish camera body - look no further than the Leica M10. It is characterised by its physical ISO dial, focus upon stills photography, and higher magnification optical viewfinder than previous digital M models. Utilising a powerful 24MP full-frame CMOS sensor and Maestro II image processor, you are provided with high-res imagery with an expanded dynamic range, high sensitivity to ISO 50000, and a 50fps continue shooting rate. Standing out from previous M-mount rangefinder camera systems, the M10 features a slimmer profile - a call-back to the original Leica M film cameras. Further to this, it incorporates a precise optical 0.73x-Magnification Viewfinder to improve frame composition and focus accuracy. Hardware upgrades include a dedicated ISO dial, a rear 3.0" 1.04m-Dot LCD screen, along with weather-resistant brass bottom and top plates - A medley of modern and traditional optical design.

Expanded Leica M10 Digital Camera Body Key Features:
High-End Optics as Standard
The powerful 24MP full-frame CMOS sensor and Maestro II image processor provide a wide dynamic range with intricate colour rendering and enhanced sensitivity. This is down to its intuitive ISO 100-50000 range, suited to working in any and all lighting conditions. Further to this, the image processor integrates a 2GB buffer to facilitate fast continuous shooting at 5fps for up to 40 consecutive frames in a single burst. You can also manipulate the viewfinder frame selector to manually change the image field, providing a visual guide with varying focal lengths. These include 35mm/135mm, 28mm/90mm, and 50mm/75mm focal length pairs.
Set to match the image sensor size at a clear focusing distance of 2m, the substantial, bright-line 0.73x-magnification rangefinder consists of an automatic parallax compensation and bright-line frame lines. Its mechanism displays superimposed bright field images central to the viewfinder to aid in manual focus control. This is further backed up by focus peaking within live view - highlighting edges of contrast to allow for pinpoint focus adjustments.
Traditonal Design with Contemporary Touches
The M10 shares similar dimensions to alternative Leica M cameras, however, this model has a slightly slimmer body that is well-suited to handheld photography. With rubber seals preventing access to light rain and dust, combined with hard-wearing solid brass top and bottom plates - the M10 is capable of working in most inclement weather conditions. The camera body further integrates a built-in ISO dial upon the top plate for direct adjustments to sensitivity values, whilst the rear of the camera features just three buttons - live view, playback, and menu.
This allows space for the large and bright 3.0" 1.04m-dot LCD monitor, complimented by additional contemporary features such as built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and access to the Lecia FOTOS app. You can share your images directly to a linked smartphone or tablet - a great addition for image-makers looking to share snaps on social media, or to transform your device into an intuitive remote control. This allows you to adjust your shooting parameters, release the shutter and more - via the aforementioned FOTOS app.
The Masterful M-mount Range
The Leica M portfolio is a collection of lenses developed to fulfil the most stringent quality demands for both digital and analogue photography. Their image quality is second-to-none, pairing effortlessly with Leica’s range of compatible high-resolution camera systems. M-mount lenses were first made famous by street photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Frank, and Sebastiao Salgado. Unrivalled in resolution, contrast, structure, tonal depth, and overall performance - the Leica M-mount range consists of a special breed of camera lens.
