Can the Evoke 150C run entirely on battery power?
Yes. The Evoke 150C can be powered from a single V-mount battery via its DC input, making it suitable for mobile setups, vehicle interiors or locations where mains power is limited. Battery operation keeps the fixture compact and reduces cable management on set. For longer runtimes, higher-capacity V-mount batteries are recommended.
How accurate is the colour output for skin tones?
The Nebula C8 light engine is designed to maintain high colour fidelity in both white and colour modes. With CRI and TLCI ratings averaging 98 and TM-30 Rf around 96, skin tones remain natural and consistent, even when adjusting colour temperature or saturation. This makes the light reliable for interviews, narrative work and commercial production.
Is the Evoke 150C suitable for outdoor use in bad weather?
Yes. The light features an IP66-rated metal construction, protecting it against dust and heavy rain. This allows confident use in outdoor locations without additional weather protection, provided connectors and power sources are also properly rated.
What control options are available?
The Evoke 150C supports on-board control, a wired controller, the NANLINK app, DMX/RDM, LumenRadio CRMX and network-based protocols such as Art-Net and sACN via an extension adapter. This flexibility makes it easy to integrate into both small crews and larger lighting networks.
Can it be used in very tight or hidden placements?
Yes. Its compact all-in-one design and low weight make it easy to mount in confined spaces, behind props or inside vehicles. The sealed housing and battery power option also reduce setup time when repositioning the light during a shoot.
What accessories are compatible with the NANLUX Evoke 150C?
The Evoke 150C uses the NANLUX FE mount and works directly with FE-mount modifiers such as the supplied 45-degree reflector. Using the FE to FM mount adapter, it is also compatible with NANLUX’s FM mount accessory ecosystem, including softboxes and projection attachments. This gives the light the flexibility to move between compact, hard light setups and more shaped or softened output without changing fixtures.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
