Expanded National Geographic 90mm Automatic Telescope Key Features:
High Resolution Images
This stargazing telescope with a 90mm mirror diagonal lens provides a 1.25m focal length for clear and bright images. It includes two eyepieces (12mm and 25mm) that give a magnification of 100x and 50x respectively, so that distant objects can be observed with high clarity and sharpness. The telescope’s f13.8 focal ratio is suitable to observe bright subjects. You can use it to observe the cloud belts of Jupiter, details on the Lunar craters, rings of Saturn, and more.
Red-Dot Finderscope
A red-dot finderscope is a beneficial tool for every telescope. This zero magnification tool with a coated glass window is used to point to the object. It superimposes a red dot in the sky and helps you to identify the subject. A red-dot finder comes with control, altitude adjustment control, and azimuth adjustment control for precise observations. You have to align the finderscope with the telescope for proper visibility and subject identification.
Efficient Star Observations
Once the telescope is powered up, you can set the date, time, and location in it to extract the database from the hand controller. You can also add your coordinates if desired and once that is done, level the altaz mount and make sure that the setup is pointing in the north direction. One of the best parts about using this computerised telescope is that you don’t have to know the exact directions of the stars as it would adjust itself and place the closest star in the finder’s field of view. Depending upon the exact location of the targeted object, you can use the 12mm or 25mm objective lens and achieve 50x or 100x magnification for a crisp and sharp view.
