Advanced Hardware

Housing an advanced hardware technology, the Neumann KH 420 has a composite sandwich cone bass driver combined with versatile ELFF (Extremely Linear Force Factor) to damp the break-up modes, maintaining low distortion even at high sound levels. You can monitor every single element of sounds right down to the subtlest of details. At the same time, this intuitive speaker has magnetic shielding that controls harmonic distortions. Adding to its versatility is the flow-optimised die-cast basket that helps to reduce air noise and promotes rocking modes.

Low Resonance Build

The KH 420 boasts construction from LRIM (Low Resonance Integral Materials), which helps to reduce the standing wave resonance inside the cabinet. In addition, this three-way cabinet features mechanically modelled components that prevent intermodulation distortion in the midrange for clean sound, meaning the speaker does not offer humming and rumbling noises. The robust and tight construction of this cabinet further reduces the overall resonance of sound as well as the cabinet itself.

Parametric Equaliser

There is another great feature equipped by this professional monitor and that is its built-in parametric equaliser technology.
