Output Stage
The microphone has a low output impedance of 50 ohms and is capable of long cable runs of up to 300 metres. It ensures lossless signal transmission and minimises any electromagnetic interference. This microphone features a low cut filter and is ideal for fairly close miking of instruments, ensuring a clear bass. Even if the singer’s lips touch the microphone, the head grille and the built-in pop filter keep the moisture away from the capsule. The head amplifier has a thick-walled housing to protect the microphone from any plosives or sibilance problems.
Wide Range of Applications
The rugged and lightweight design of the microphone enables it to be used as a handheld vocal microphone. The high SPL capability and a wide dynamic range make it an excellent microphone for home recording and broadcast applications. It can be used to record various instruments such as trombone, harmonica, saxophone, percussion, guitar cabinets, and an acoustic guitar. It picks up dry sounds with very little ambience and thus, is ideal for close-mic placement.
Acoustic Features
The condenser capsule of the microphone transmits the human voice in a natural and warm tone. It has a particularly high acoustic transparency, a fine resolution of transients, and a wide frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The acoustic filter and the transformer-less impedance converter handle very high sound pressure levels of up to 150 dB, enabling the handling of difficult on-stage situations. The acoustic filter has a directional characteristic and a high level of feedback protection.

It produces a transparent and more emotional vocal sound without the usual EQ boost. The KMS 105 has a very directional supercardioid pickup pattern which is most sensitive to on-axis sounds. It provides null points at 127-degree, 233-degree, and at the rear side.

It can be operated with plug-on or pocket transmitters with these specifications: P48 phantom power, the signal on pin 2, and sufficient dynamic range of the transmitter.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
