The Nikon D3000 Body Only is designed for anyone who wants to take pictures without worrying about settings. The user can select from a choice of subject parameters and the camera will do the rest, and the instant response time means a moment is never lost. The 11-point autofocus system ensures everyone is in focus, and the bright viewfinder means you get what you want, when you want it. The D3000 has a 10.2 megapixel CCD sensor and shoots at 3 frames per second. It has a large 3 inch TFT screen. After shooting, the D3000's photo editing functions allow for in-camera retouching, lessening the need for a computer to enhance or modify images. Each editing function is applied to a copy of the image, with the original left unmodified.
Key Features: Nikon D3000 Digital SLR Camera Body
Nikon D3000 Digital SLR - Let the D3000 GUIDE you
For those tricky shots that cant afford to be missed, simply set the Mode dial to Guide, then let the D3000 assist in adjusting camera settings. Guide mode helps capture the moment to obtain the kinds of pictures expected from a quality digital SLR camera. The camera’s intelligent Guide mode helps take photography to new heights.
Nikon D3000 Digital SLR - Nikon DX-format CCD sensor; 10.2 effective megapixels
Combining a CCD sensor with Nikon’s famed EXPEED image processing system, the D3000 produces finely detailed photos that exhibit exceptional colour and sharpness as well as smooth gradation, and does so at lightning-quick speed. The highresolution enables beautiful enlargements without loss of sharpness.
Nikon D3000 Digital SLR - 11-point autofocus system for tack-sharp results
The diamond-shaped array of 11 autofocus points provides outstanding coverage for achieving focus no matter where the subject is located in the frame. Additionally, four AF-area modes Single-point, Dynamic-area, Auto-area, and 3D-tracking cover any situation, from fast or unpredictable action to static, off-center subjects.
Nikon D3000 Digital SLR - Active D-Lighting What you see is what you get
Shooting in bright sunlight often produces pictures with extreme contrast between light and dark areas, resulting in loss of tone and detail. Active D-Lighting effectively combats this by preserving important details in shadows and highlights. The results are optimally exposed photos that better reflect the scene as you saw it.
Nikon D3000 Digital SLR - 3.0-inch LCD monitor goes easy on the eyes
Image playback and viewing menus is now easier than ever thanks to the 3.0-in., 230k-dot TFT LCD monitor. The large monitor also results in text size that is 20% larger than on previous Nikon digital SLR cameras.
Nikon D3000 Digital SLR - In-camera photo editing
After shooting, the D3000’s photo editing functions allow for in-camera retouching, lessening the need for a computer to enhance or modify images. Each editing function is applied to a copy of the image, with the original left unmodified.

Can I repay early? If so how?
No repayments are scheduled in the initial six-month deferral period. However, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, but a £29.00 early-settlement will be incurred. Such repayments may be made to Barclays Partner Finance by cheque, debit card or standing order. Unfortunately it is not possible to set up a direct debit within the deferral period. Further information on how to make such repayments will be set out in the loan agreement pack provided by Barclays Partner Finance.
What happens if I don't repay within the first six months (deferral period)?
Following the six month deferral period, Barclays Partner Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 19.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Late payment penalties and early repayment charges will apply from this point. Barclays Partner Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six month deferral period is due to elapse. Note: If you chose to spread the cost and pay monthly, interest is charged from the start of the loan, not from the start of the repayment period.
What will I receive from the finance provider (lender)?
Barclays Partner Finance will send a loan agreement pack approximately four weeks after delivery of the goods, confirming that the account has been activated and, from this point, it is possible to make repayments against the loan.
