Perspective distortion correction and High Mode in Active I.S. offer robust compensation for any unwanted movement when filming. Powerful 7.5-stop 5-axis B.I.S (Body Image Stabilisation) and 7.5-stop Dual I.S. 2 compensate for camera shake when capturing photos, preventing blur and maintaining optimal image quality.

With newly equipped internal recording of 5.7K 30p ProRes 422 HQ and ProRes RAW HQ and 5.7K 60p ProRes/B RAW recording via HDMI, the GH7 ensures high-quality video recording that promises outstanding clarity. With 13+ stops full V-Log in the V Gamut colour space, it retains all colour information in the image for true-to-life colour reproduction when grading in post. It supports high-resolution 4:2:0 10-bit 4K120p and 4:2:2 10-bit FHD240p HFR slow-motion recording and 10-bit FHD up to 300fps VFR (Variable Frame Rate) recording, offering a range of high-definition, dynamic options to capture your subject.

To help you through long days on set, the Lumix GH7 supports unlimited recording. Thanks to improved heat management through heat dissipation and the integration of a cooling fan, there’s less threat of your camera overheating, and you can record for longer.

Get Creative with Real Time LUT

With access to improved Real Time LUT on the Lumix GH7, you can create expressive photos and videos straight out of your camera. Real Time LUT lets users load original LUT files and apply creative colour looks to images and videos, allowing you to express your style and reduce time spent editing your work, with no additional software or a computer required to apply them. Creating unique filters is done by layering Photo Style and LUT, and you can extend parameter settings for improved creative control. Then, enjoy near-instant sharing and editing of your creations by transferring photos and videos to your smartphone using the Lumix Lab app.

Streamline Your Post-Production Workflow

The Lumix GH7 has a range of features that support an efficient workflow, streamlining the editing process for photographers and videographers with a busy schedule. With 5.8K 30p Open Gate recording, you can enjoy flexible framing and get every aspect ratio with one shot, a handy feature for later posting to a range of social media platforms or to suit the needs of any project. It also enables proxy recording and supports native Camera to Cloud integration with Adobe’s frame.io, so you can automatically upload, back up, share or collaborate on images and videos using the cloud.

The Lumix GH7 also offers the world’s first 32-bit float recording, eliminating the need to adjust audio recording levels during shooting when using Panasonic’s separately available XLR microphone adapter DMW-XLR2E. With the adaptor, you can access 48kHz or 96kHz 32-bit 2-channel audio recording. You only need to edit a single video file with high-quality 32-bit float audio rather than video and audio separately, saving you time in post-production.
