The Pentax 35mm f2.8 Macro DA Limited Lens Silver features an equivalent focal range of 53.5mm on a 35mm film camera and offers a natural perspective similar to that of the human eye, making it versatile enough to be used with a wide range of subjects and applications. This lens is ideal for capturing close-up macro work (minimum focusing distance 0.139m) and shooting handheld at sunset, dusk, gigs and indoors, thanks to its fast f2.8 maximum aperture. The High Definition (HD) coating provides higher light transmission to ensure sharp and flare-free images, whilst the round-shaped diaphragm produces a natural, beautiful bokeh (out-of-focus) effect making it a superb lens for portraits. The Pentax Limited series lenses are renowned for their hand-machined, well-built aluminium body, outstanding image quality, HD coating and a round-shaped diaphragm for a beautiful out-of-focus effect. This lens is designed to fit digital SLRs with a Pentax K-mount.
The key features
High quality finish and excellent optical performance
Equivalent to 53.5 mm in 35mm film format
High Definition Coating
Round shaped diaphragm
Magnification to 1:1
High-grade HD coating for exceptional image rendition
All lenses are treated with HD coating,* a high-grade multi-layer lens coating that assures higher light transmittance and lower reflectance than conventional multi-layer coatings. As the result, they produce sharp, clear images free of flare and ghost images, even under such adverse lighting conditions as backlight.
* HD stands for High Definition, and signifies the lens’s capacity to reproduce images that excel in transparency, definition, resolution and rendition.
Round-shaped diaphragm for beautiful out-of-focus rendition
All lenses feature a completely round-shaped diaphragm to optimize the performance of their distinctive optics. This diaphragm produces a natural, beautiful bokeh (out-of-focus) effect, while minimizing the streaking effect of point light sources.
Premium quality of the Limited Lens-series
While inheriting the design concept of the Limited Lens series, these lenses were designed by combining a series of mechanical and numerical evaluations with human assessment of test-shooting samples to assure the ultimate in image reproduction. Their optical design has been optimized for digital photography to deliver sharp, clear images with outstanding contrast, even at the maximum aperture. In addition, their lens barrel, hood and cap are all made of a high-grade aluminum material, hand-machined for perfect proportions and beautiful texture.

Can I repay early? If so how?
No repayments are scheduled in the initial six-month deferral period. However, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, but a £29.00 early-settlement will be incurred. Such repayments may be made to Barclays Partner Finance by cheque, debit card or standing order. Unfortunately it is not possible to set up a direct debit within the deferral period. Further information on how to make such repayments will be set out in the loan agreement pack provided by Barclays Partner Finance.
What happens if I don't repay within the first six months (deferral period)?
Following the six month deferral period, Barclays Partner Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 19.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Late payment penalties and early repayment charges will apply from this point. Barclays Partner Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six month deferral period is due to elapse. Note: If you chose to spread the cost and pay monthly, interest is charged from the start of the loan, not from the start of the repayment period.
What will I receive from the finance provider (lender)?
Barclays Partner Finance will send a loan agreement pack approximately four weeks after delivery of the goods, confirming that the account has been activated and, from this point, it is possible to make repayments against the loan. You will also receive reminder letters and text at the end of the deferral period to remind you when your first payment is due.
