It is recommended to calibrate the scanner to help you make the image colour close to reality as it will help you to avoid stripes and bands on your scanned images.

There are three easy editing modes on ePhoto that can be used to edit scanned images according to your personal preferences.
How many images can it display?
The scanner can easily display up to 50 images in 300 dpi (12 images in 600 dpi) in the preview, which is why it is recommended to adjust and save the scanned images before you continue to scan. You can save the image by simply dragging and dropping it into the selected cabinet.
Can the scanned images be saved without previewing?
You can easily scan photos and save them quickly without previewing by selecting the “Scan and save directly to” option. Select your destination folder in the Preferences dialog.
