Can I connect the Shure MV7+ Podcast Microphone to smartphones/tablets?
The MV7+ is compatible with most smartphones and tablets. It is MFi certified, and you can access features using the MOTIV Android and Apple iOS mobile apps.
How do I change the colour of the MV7+ LED touch panel?
Download the MOTIV Mix Desktop app and link your MV7+ through its USB-C port. Within the app, customise the LED colour and access advanced controls. Ensure your MV7+ is updated to the latest firmware for full access to these features.
What’s the difference between the original Shure MV7 microphone and the improved MV7+?
The Shure MV7+ Podcast microphone has evolved and added some new features from the original. The MV7+ features more Onboard DSP with better auto level mode, a digital pop filter, real-time denoiser and reverb selection. It also now offers USB-C connectivity and the colour-customisable LED panel. It also utilises a more extended mic foam than the original MV7 to introduce an airgap to improve plosive performance.
How many colours are available for selection on the LED panel?
Within the MOTIV Mix Desktop App, you can display either one or three colours from a selection of 16.77 million. When selecting three colours, the multi-colour LED display blends them horizontally, offering a potential of over 68 billion colours. In Live Meter mode, you can choose one colour to display, either solid or pulsing.

The balance of the finance agreement is payable directly to Novuna Consumer Finance in equal monthly instalments by monthly direct debit. Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
