Distinguishing itself from the standard Sigma High Speed Primes, these lenses feature fully luminescent markings. This innovation ensures that focus pullers and camera operators can effortlessly discern lens markings even in low-light or dark shooting conditions, eliminating the need for potentially disruptive light sources. The lenses share a common 95mm front diameter and possess similar physical attributes throughout the line, simplifying and expediting the process of mounting accessories like matte boxes, follow focuses, and lens control motors.

The 9-bladed iris of these lenses creates visually pleasing out-of-focus bokeh effects while minimising ghosting and flaring. Furthermore, colour reproduction is standardised for streamlined colour correction. Every lens in this series maintains consistent lens gear positions and offers a focus barrel rotation of 180°. Additionally, the FF High-Speed Primes feature a clickless iris with linear markings, gear rings equipped with dampeners for silent operation, industry-standard 0.8 module gear pitch, and engraved markings for enhanced durability.

To alleviate strain on your camera's lens mount, the metal lens body incorporates a support foot while maintaining resistance to dust and water.
