The Sony 50-150mm lens pairs a wide f2 aperture with a highly versatile telephoto zoom range, designed for full-frame Sony Alpha cameras. Covering popular focal lengths for portraits, weddings, events, fashion, and sports, it offers strong subject separation, reliable low-light performance, and consistent exposure at every focal length across the zoom range. As part of the G Master series, it delivers prime-level sharpness and smooth bokeh in a compact, portable form.
Exceptional optics with refined bokeh
Sony has constructed the optical system with 19 elements in 17 groups, including four aspherical elements. These upgraded Sony G Master optics include two XA (extreme aspherical) elements to reduce spherical aberration and maintain edge-to-edge resolution. Three ED and two Super ED elements minimise chromatic aberration and ensure natural contrast with minimal colour fringing. The bright f2 aperture works with an 11-blade circular diaphragm to create smooth, spherical bokeh. With a minimum focusing distance of just 0.4m at 50mm, the lens also allows close-up compositions with shallow depth of field and excellent clarity.

A floating focus mechanism enhances close-up performance while keeping the lens compact. Internal focusing maintains consistent balance and prevents front extension during focus pulls.

Three customisable focus hold buttons are spaced around the barrel, giving easy access from multiple angles. Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
