Intelligent Optical Construction
Intelligent lens construction is what allows this lens to capture incredibly high-quality images. The lens features two XA (Extreme Aspherical) and three aspheric elements which help to reduce distortion, curvature and astigmatism. A further two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements minimise colour distortion and an advanced nano AR (Anti Reflection) coating the optical surfaces is used to significantly reduce ghosting and flare from your footage. There's also a floating focus mechanism which is designed to ensure high-resolution images with little to no distortion at any filming distance.
Manual Focusing
The Sony FE C 16-35mm T3.1 G features a linear response manual focus system which provides precise, smooth and lag-free manual focusing. This, in turn, allows DoPs and camera operators to intuitively adjust focus through a scene with complete accuracy. Sony has fitted both a 120° focusing ring and distance scale makers which provides that more precise control when focusing through your scene. As well as this, there's a reversible zoom ring rotation, switchable AF/MF & Full Manual modes, and a tactile click-stop option for your aperture ring which offers accurate control over your aperture choice. This option can be disengaged depending on your scene and once disengaged, the rotation is smooth and quiet.
The Detachable Servo Zoom
As mentioned, this lens kit comes with an included servo unit. This unit provides ergonomic and comfortable fingertip control of zoom, allowing for smooth and gradual zooming which is often a desired effect in professional work, be it promotional or drama filming. The servo and manual controls are switchable by an easily located and reachable button on the lens barrel and whilst you have it set to servo control, you'll have the option to control zoom via the cameras handle or grip zoom. Of course, this unit is detachable which is deal of when you need your kit set up to be lighter and/or more portable.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
